Movie Trailers
Juno Trailer No Sound
The trailer uses a lot of close shots, which are mostly of people. There is not much emphasis on scenery. Some parts are long shots and others are filled with quick cuts. The colors seem to be somewhat washed out. Humor wasn’t greatly conveyed, it looks more like a serious story with some humorous parts. There are also a lot of different clips in there alluding to a story line filled with action/drama.
Juno Trailer With Sound
The trailer now seems to focus more on the lightheartedness of the film. The director chose to pull out funny parts that were obviously funny. What I mean to say is that you do not need to watch the film to get these jokes. The dialogue allows the viewer to see a bit of the characters’ personalities as well as catch on to the over feeling of the film. The sound definitely shows that the film is a comedy with some real “dramaish” parts to it.
Snakes On A Plane No Sound
There is a lot of action in each shot. They are of people. Many bright colors are used. Also, the shots themselves have a lot of color in them. It appeared to be a long shot that probably appeared in the film in that same order. It doesn’t look like much editing was done to make the trailer.
Snakes On A Plane With Sound
This trailer with sound definitely shows that it is an action/drama. There is music that makes the view feel a sense of urgency and emergency. There is also a definite show of power to the main character’s character. The director chose to take a specific climactic scene in the movie to put as the entire trailer.
