As an alternative to watching one of the Hulu videos I posted last week, you can attend this event on Wednesday and write a 500 word response. The filmmaker will be there for Q&A after the screening!
Journal: In the beginning of the semester, I asked you to address your assumptions about writing and video. Now, at the end of the semester, has your perspective changed? If so, how? Why/why not? What have you learned about yourself? Any surprises? (10min)
Small groups: Each student presents a rough cut to their group. As a group, you should discuss any remaining formal, technical, or conceptual problems. Remember, this is your last opportunity for feedback before final critiques!
Class rough cut screening: Opportunity for people to present to the whole class for feedback.
Work time:Time for feedback, questions, editing–whatever needs to be done!
Homework:

Small groups: Get into your small groups. Screen your video in its current state, and discuss any remaining issues you are having. Once again, offer feedback and technical recommendations. (45-60 min)
